Many are familiar with Alexander Hamilton from the hit musical, but how much was true about the actual man? In this one hour presentation at the Hamilton Grange National Memorial, Marti Londal will examine some myths from the musical and go beyond the lyrics to learn more about the ten-dollar founding father.

ABOUT MARTI
Marti Londal has been a Chapter President with the Alexander Hamilton Society since 2015 and has served many roles with the society including, most recently, Marketing Director and DC Regional Director. She graduated from the University of Michigan majoring in Business and minoring in American History, and developed a passion for all things Alexander Hamilton long before the musical. She loves confronting myths propataged by the musical and using the recent enthusiasm for Revolutionary War history to go beyond the traditional textbooks to examine how precedents set 250 years ago are still very much a part of our daily lives.
The Alexander Hamilton Awareness Society aims to be a catalyst to inspire people to learn about Alexander Hamilton and apply lessons from his life to their own.
