This year’s CelebrateHAMILTON will be virtual, allowing all to join in honoring the 220th anniversary of Alexander Hamilton’s passing.
On July 14, 1804, the largest funeral New York City had seen was held for Alexander Hamilton following his passing from a bullet wound received in his duel with Aaron Burr on July 11, 1804.
On this July 14th, join the AHA Society board for our popular roundtable discussions, brought to you virtually this year, in which the AHA community can come together and discuss Hamilton’s life and legacy, plus ask questions to Hamilton scholars directly. As always with our roundtables, we will cover several themes from Hamilton’s life, as well as enjoy community discussion. We hope you will join us to honor this important anniversary.
