    In celebration of the 10th anniversary of "Hamilton: An American Musical" the Hamilton Grange and the Alexander Hamilton Awareness Society are excited to host Marti Londal for a talk entitled "Hamilton: The Man vs The Musical."

  • Madi Frick: “Alexander Hamilton and the US Constitution”

    Join Madi Frick to learn the story of Alexander Hamilton’s role in advocating for and forming the United States Constitution. She will start the presentation with a brief overview of Hamilton’s life up through the American Revolution to help contextualize his life and his viewpoints regarding government. Then, the talk will cover the time between the American Revolution and the Constitutional Convention, detailing the role and failures of the Articles of Confederation. Next, Madi will recount Hamilton’s time at the Constitutional Convention, as well as his advocacy for the U.S. Constitution through the Federalist Papers and at the New York Ratifying Convention. She will then talk about Hamilton’s vital part in shaping the early American Republic, and his lasting impact on the United States Government.
